I believe teaching is a career that take a very special person to do. I believe this because teachers have the task of educating the next generations of children but also do much more than teach and plan lessons. Teachers are mentors, a friendly face, they provide a safe place for kids to come each day, and are students biggest supporter! For myself I am getting a degree in elementary education because school was something I struggled with due to having dyslexia. Growing up my brother never had to study he would go to class and take in what the teachers lesson was and that was enough for him. I myself had to really focus, study, and even had a private tutor to help me with my dyslexia. I want to teach because I have been that kid that is struggling when everyone else understands and I want to help future generations of kids overcome their struggles, and teach kids lessons in many different ways because not everyone learns the same way.
